Bulldogs On Parade

Bulldogs on Parade was written for Mr. Wilson's beginning band concert at Kyrene del Pueblo Middle School at his first concert as their Director of Bands. The students were involved in the naming of the piece. The students decided to include their school's mascot, the Bulldog, while thinking of an appropriate title.

Bulldogs on Parade is a great tune to play during the students' first year. The tune utilizes the first six notes that most students would learn in the first year of study. Although the snare uses sixteenth notes, the pattern is not complicated and is repetitive.
